By Car:
Portsmouth Ferry Port has excellent road links from anywhere in the UK. The national motorway network brings the M275 right to the port itself, take the exit at J12 on M27 and follow M275 to Portsmouth, follow the signs to the Continental Ferry Port and to the LD Lines terminal which is clearly marked.


A recent addition as part of the road improvements is the access to the northbound slip road on to the M275 giving easy access to cars and coaches to central Portsmouth.

By Coach:
National Express operates coaches to and from Portsmouth to Heathrow and Gatwick airport, and to the London Victoria coach terminal; Change at London Victoria terminal to travel elsewhere in the UK.


By Rail:
Frequent services are operated between Portsmouth and London Waterloo with an approximate journey time of 85 minutes.
Service to London Victoria pass through Chichester, Brighton and Gatwick and services to Cardiff pass through Salisbury and Bristol.
The station closest to the LD Lines terminal is “Portsmouth & Southsea” and is just a short taxi or shuttle bus ride from the Ferry port.
